One of our recent projects was to fund a borehole to provide clean, safe, sustainable drinking water for the community in Nzara. The St. Timothy Foundation partnered with Fields of Life who had a team in South Sudan drilling boreholes.
The older water taps were a long distance from the village and were overcrowded, so it took a lot of energy and a long time every day to collect water for the school and homes.
The borehole brings fresh and clean water to St Timothy’s School, the Health Clinic, the ECS School and 500 families living around the mission. Each family has an average of 7-12 members.
